These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases and use of products and services provided by Self Care Soothes the Soul.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Self Care Soothes the Soul.

By accessing our website or purchasing our physical products, digital products, courses, memberships, workshops, coaching or other services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Definitions

“We”, “us” and “our” mean Self Care Soothes the Soul / Amanda Durham.

“You”, “your” and “customer” mean any person accessing our website or purchasing our products or services.

“Products” includes physical products such as Reset Ritual Tins, candles, DIY suncatcher kits and other wellbeing or self-care products.

“Digital Products” includes downloadable guides, courses, recordings and other digital content.

“Services” includes coaching, workshops, memberships, events and other personal-development or wellbeing services.

3. Use of Our Website

You agree not to:

use our website for any unlawful purpose;

interfere with the operation or security of the website;

share protected login information;

copy, reproduce, resell or distribute our content without permission; or

attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, courses or systems.

We may suspend or remove access where these Terms are breached.

4. Eligibility

You must be aged 18 or over to purchase directly from this website.

Our physical products are intended for adult purchase and use unless the individual product description expressly states otherwise.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original materials created by Self Care Soothes the Soul, including courses, PDFs, videos, graphics, photographs, branding, downloads and written content, are owned by or licensed to Self Care Soothes the Soul and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our protected content without written permission.

6. Product Descriptions

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, photographs, measurements and other information are accurate.

Because some products contain natural, handmade or individually assembled components, minor differences in colour, shape, texture, crystal appearance, positioning or finish may occur. These natural or minor variations are not necessarily defects.

Photographs are illustrative and colours may appear differently depending on screen settings.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer-law requirements.

7. Physical Product Orders

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products in accordance with these Terms.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where, for example:

a product is unavailable;

there is an obvious pricing or listing error;

payment has not been authorised;

we cannot deliver to the address supplied; or

we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.

8. Prices and Payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.

Any applicable delivery charge will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Payments are processed through the payment provider shown at checkout.

You are responsible for ensuring that your payment and delivery information is accurate.

9. Delivery of Physical Products

Available delivery methods, charges and estimated dispatch or delivery times will be displayed on the website or during checkout.

Unless another delivery period has been expressly agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the period required by applicable consumer law.

Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed dates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect information supplied by you, except where the law provides otherwise.

Where an order contains products dispatched separately, they may arrive in more than one parcel.

10. Risk During Delivery

Responsibility for goods remains with us while they are being delivered to you by a carrier appointed by us.

Risk passes to you when you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

11. Cancellation and Returns – Physical Products

If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you will normally have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to the exceptions provided by law.

You do not need to provide a reason for exercising this cancellation right.

To cancel, contact:

[email protected]

Please provide sufficient information for us to identify your order.

After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the goods within the period required by law.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not compliant with your statutory rights, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them.

Products should be returned safely and securely packaged.

You may inspect and handle goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction from a refund where the value of goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary.

Where a valid cancellation is made, we will refund the amounts we are legally required to refund, including the standard outbound delivery charge where applicable. If you selected a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional delivery cost.

Refunds will be made within the time required by applicable consumer law.

Exceptions

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel where an exemption under consumer law applies, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

Where an exemption applies, this will be made clear before purchase where appropriate.

This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

12. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.

Physical goods must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law, including being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable and as described.

If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, is faulty or has missing components, please contact us at:

[email protected]

Please include your order details and, where reasonably possible, photographs showing the issue so that we can investigate promptly.

Your entitlement to a refund, repair or replacement will depend upon the circumstances and your statutory rights.

Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

13. Product Safety and Responsible Use

Please read and follow all safety instructions, warnings and directions supplied with physical products.

Products must only be used for their intended purpose.

13.1 Candles and Candle Holders

Candles involve an open flame and must be used responsibly.

Always:

follow the safety instructions supplied with the candle;

place the candle and holder on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface;

keep burning candles away from children and pets;

keep candles away from flammable materials, draughts and sources of heat;

never leave a burning candle unattended; and

extinguish the candle safely after use.

Do not use a candle, holder or other component if it appears damaged or unsafe.

Any additional safety information supplied with the candle or displayed on its packaging forms part of the product instructions and should be followed.

13.2 DIY Suncatcher Kits

DIY suncatcher kits contain small components and may include crystals, beads, cord, wire, metal components and/or other craft materials.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these kits are sold as adult craft/wellbeing products and are not toys.

Keep small components away from babies and young children as they may present a choking hazard.

Take care when handling components that may have sharp edges or points.

Finished suncatchers should be hung securely and positioned where they cannot fall onto or be pulled down by children or pets.

They should not be positioned where reflected or concentrated sunlight could create an avoidable risk to people, furnishings or property.

Follow any additional assembly and safety instructions supplied with the kit.

14. Reset Ritual Tins and Wellbeing Products

Reset Ritual Tins and associated products are designed to support personal self-care and relaxation.

They are not medical or therapeutic products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or psychological condition.

Individual products contained within a tin may carry their own ingredients, allergen information, warnings or usage instructions. Customers should read these before use.

Where a third-party branded product is included within a collection, the manufacturer's instructions and warnings for that product should also be followed.

15. Coaching, Courses, Workshops and Digital Products

Our content, including coaching, workshops, sound-based wellbeing practices, self-care guidance and personal-development material, is provided for informational, educational and personal-development purposes.

We do not provide medical advice, mental-health therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, legal advice or financial advice.

Nothing provided through Self Care Soothes the Soul should replace advice or treatment from an appropriately qualified professional.

You are responsible for deciding whether participation is appropriate for you and for seeking professional advice where necessary.

16. Results and Personal Responsibility

Individual experiences and results vary.

We do not guarantee particular outcomes from coaching, courses, workshops, memberships, wellbeing practices, digital products or self-care routines.

Nothing on our website or in our marketing should be interpreted as a guarantee of a particular personal, emotional, financial, health or wellbeing outcome.

17. Digital Products

Digital products may be supplied immediately after purchase.

Where applicable, before receiving immediate access to digital content you may be asked to expressly consent to supply beginning during the statutory cancellation period and acknowledge the effect this has on your cancellation rights.

Any cancellation or refund rights for digital products will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.

18. Memberships and Recurring Payments

Where you purchase a recurring membership or subscription, the price and billing frequency will be made clear before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, cancellation prevents future renewal payments but does not retrospectively refund a billing period that has already begun, except where required by law.

You may cancel recurring payments using the method specified for the relevant membership or by contacting us.

19. Community Guidelines

When participating in our Facebook, Go High Level or other community spaces, you agree to:

treat other members respectfully;

respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants;

refrain from bullying, harassment, hate speech or abusive behaviour;

avoid promoting unrelated products or services without permission; and

not present unqualified medical, psychological or other professional advice as professional guidance.

We reserve the right to remove content or access where these guidelines are breached.

20. Privacy and Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information and explains your rights under applicable data-protection legislation.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

21. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for purposes including website functionality, checkout, analytics and, where consent has been provided, marketing.

Our Cookie Policy and cookie consent controls provide further information about the cookies used and your choices.

22. Third-Party Products, Links and Services

Our website and products may contain or link to services or products provided by third parties, including payment processors, social-media platforms and third-party product manufacturers.

Where we sell a product to you as part of our own offering, our consumer-law obligations as the seller are not avoided merely because an individual component was manufactured by another business.

External websites and services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

23. Website Availability

We take reasonable steps to maintain access to our website and digital services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems, hosting issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this section excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

24. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses resulting from misuse of products contrary to supplied safety instructions.

Where you purchase primarily for business purposes, we are not responsible for business losses including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or anticipated savings to the extent permitted by law.

25. Events and Workshops

Where you purchase attendance at an event or workshop, any event-specific cancellation, transfer or refund conditions displayed at the time of booking will also apply.

If there is any conflict between these Terms and specific terms clearly provided for an event before purchase, the event-specific terms will apply to that booking, subject always to applicable law.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including where our products, services or legal obligations change.

The version applicable to your purchase will normally be the version in force when the contract was made.

The “Last Updated” date at the top identifies the current version.

27. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to the part of the UK in which you live.

Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
